Fire Safety Direct Ltd was formed by two brothers Peter and Simon Jones in 2003 building on over 40 years of experience in the fire prevention industry with the idea of providing a transparent, no nonsense direct approach to Fire Safety in the workplace.

Since the company has been established we have been approved by Accreditation Schemes, BAFE SP101 & SP203 : BSI ISO 9001 : 2015, accreditation, ECA, Rospa outstanding safety performance and training, SSIP, Construction line, Safe-contractor and portable appliance testing 2377-201 and 2377-101. These third party accreditations are intended to reassure you that you are dealing with a professional company, which has a quality system in place for the installation and inspection for all systems, portable extinguishers and passive fire equipment.

Since forming the company, we have rapidly grown, and are now proud of the fact that we have over 3000 maintenance contracts, from the small corner shop to large industrial organizations. In 2009 we became the approved contractor for the Welsh Purchasing Consortium Framework (NPS) Agreement supplying risk assessments, yearly reviews, service, maintenance and supply of new fire fighting equipment and systems, to twelve Welsh Councils. Also, to date, several local authorities, Facility Services Group, Mid & West and South Wales Fire & Rescue Service gave us the responsibility of the service and maintenance of their on-site fire alarms, CCTV, intruder, door access and Emergency Lighting systems. We have also now been fortunate enough to be awarded contracts for service and supply portable firefighting equipment and signage to two NHS health boards, Aneurin bevan and Hywel Dda which we are still providing the above services for.

We attribute our success to a service package we offer to all our customers, which is an All Inclusive Package with no hidden extras giving businesses, less paperwork and fixed costs year on year. Our Engineers are FETA, FIA, BAFE , 17 / 18th edition 2382-101 electrical and wiring installation, 2377-201 management and maintenance electrical equipment, 2377-101 inspection and testing of electrical equipment qualified and all work carried out meets with the strict guidelines laid out by each registration. We know have the capability to design and maintain Fire Alarm Systems in full accordance BS 5839 Part 1 2017, and in 2013 we invested in the maintenance and service of intruder alarm systems.
